How to Apply the ‘Science’ of Magnetism

What is magnetism? 

Does it really exist? Or is it another classic New Earth Biz buzzword?

And what does it actually mean to create a magnetic offering? Is it possible to leverage the forces of magnetism in such a way that your business offerings are transformed into powerful spheres of attraction?

Yes. And it’s not tricksy or seductive…. it’s sacred and vital and magnificent.

Here’s where I like to get scientific about it. I love examining any kind of iterative process and breaking it down into steps. I like to look at each micro-process individually as a stand-alone element — whilst also looking at how it fits into and shapes the macro. 

Maybe you do this too, on some level? I’m sure if you’re reading this email, you’re someone who keeps a keen eye on the complex processes unfolding every day in your life and business.

I have come to know on a deep, inner level that magnetism is a natural and vital quality. It plays a key role in the fulfilment and maintenance of the Divine Pattern — of the natural order of things.

It’s not marketing trickery (although it’s often hijacked as such) and it’s not manipulation. Pure magnetism is a recognition of home and belonging.

So in the context of crafting an offering, what does it mean to create a product, service or program that is magnetic?

Well, at its simplest, it means that your customers instantly recognise it as home. This deceptively simple, unadorned truth is central to sacred business. 

Safety, belonging and homecoming are qualities of soul. These can’t be faked, you will always know if something, someone or somewhere truly feels like home — and so will your customers. 

To create a space, product or offering that feels like home requires that you not only understand the needs, desires and challenges of your customers, but that you also know the trajectories your customers will likely move through within your containers, so that the forms you choose (pricing, program structure, etc.) are appropriate and supportive.

If you can match form with essence, you’re leveraging magnetism.

Magnetism is a word much overused, but if we break it down, it refers to a field of attraction; a calling out from one soul to another, a frequency band that abides by the laws of nature, like-seeking-like.

There’s a lot of fluff out there about fields and frequency, but it’s as real as the chair you’re sitting on, you just can’t see it with your eyes. You’ve experienced it many times, in many different ways. Any time you’ve felt safe in someone’s presence — or, conversely, an inner voice warns you to keep schtum about something vulnerable — that’s your inner compass responding to a relational field. Everything is affecting your energy at all times, it’s the most honest litmus we have.

Magnetism works in mysterious and complex ways, most of which we’ll never fully understand, but it’s real and present and we can work with it skillfully and effectively.

Life is always moving towards coherency, organisation, wholeness. If you commit to serving wholeness in everything that you do and make, magnetism becomes a natural by-product.

Science is simply a practise of systematic study, observation and experimentation, measured against a range of outcomes. Mastering the science of magnetism simply means examining the micro and macro of the process and learning how to work skilfully with it across the whole creative spectrum.
